This latest Core release adds a long-awaited filter to the blog. Tags are now joining Categories, Year and Author to help you find the blog posts you’re looking for. The next time you’re trying to add a new user to Webforms, just select “Webforms” from our Tags dropdown!

Joining the fancy items is a host of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Blogs and mobile menus have gotten extra attention in this update.

As always, please send reports of any issues you encounter to digimaint@fiu.edu. Your reports can help us determine priorities for the next release!

Improvements

  • Added tag lists to blog listing pages. Tags can be selected as a filter option alongside Categories, Year and Author. This is enabled by default and can be turned off if you don't want Tags as a filter option.
  • Added different bullet types for ordered lists with multiple levels.
  • Added correct alt text to photos in profile modules.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a compatibility issue for blogs on servers using PHP 8.2.
  • Blog post category and tag listings no longer show a “+” where spaces should be.
  • Sub-navigation no longer gets stuck in position after a page is open for a long period of time.
  • Mobile menus no longer overlap parent units with long names.
  • Calendar modules now require a value in the “Maximum number of items” field.
  • Fixed an issue causing some blog tags to appear in unrelated tag searches.
  • Fixed some potential broken links in XML sitemaps.
  • Fixed an issue causing some users to receive an "id to load is required for loading" error message.
  • Fixed an issue causing thumbnail grids with no images to display incorrect number of columns.
  • Fixed an accessibility issue concerning the searchable interface pagination.
  • Added missing alt text for some profile images.
