We’ve already covered how to enable dropdown menus and the reset navigation feature on Cascade. But what if you have content you don’t need anymore, or don’t want to show in the dropdown menu?
While you could delete the folder, there’s a better solution to make sure the unwanted content doesn’t appear at all.
Introducing Hide from navigation
The Hide from navigation feature on Cascade lets you prevent webpages from showing in the main navigation and dropdown menus.
To use it, right-click on the folder you want to hide and click Edit.

After clicking Edit, scroll down to the Hide from navigation option, and select the box marked Yes, then click Submit and Publish your changes.

Remember, any changes that affect the main navigation or dropdown menu in the main navigation require you to republish your entire website for your changes to take effect.
If you want to add those items back to the main navigation, dropdown menu or sub-navigation, simply go back and uncheck the Hide from navigation option and republish.
